Roc-Masters Piggable Wye fitting is a forged Y fitting that joins pipelines and permits pigging from either inlet branch toward the single outlet. The Wye Fitting allows pigs to pass from a full-size or reducing lateral line into a trunk line. It provides two inlets separated by an angle of approximately 30°. The angle may be more or less for intelligent pigs, depending on pipe diameter and pig manufacturer, and the configuration can be either symmetrical or asymmetrical. The Wye Fitting will pass commonly used pigs, including foam-type swab pigs, articulated scraper pigs, spheres, batching pigs, gauging pigs, and intelligent pigs. In general, pigs longer than 1.5 to 2.0 times the nominal pipe diameter should be articulated, and gauging pigs should be assembled with gauging plates mounted on the rear end of the pig rather than on the front end. The Wye Fitting is available with either a weld-end configuration or with flanges and pipe pups. The Wye Fitting can be designed to suit all ANSI or API pressure ratings for most pipe sizes.

-  Service: Standard (i.e. crude oil, natural gas, hydrocarbons, water or chemical injection, etc.) and Sour (i.e. hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide, etc.)

-  Design Pressure Rating: up to ASME Class 2500

-  Hydrostatic Test Pressure (min): 1.5 times Design Pressure Rating rounded up to nearest 25 psig

-  Hydrostatic Test Duration (min): 1 hr

-  Design Temperature Range: -20°F (-29°C) to 250°F (121°C)

-  Configuration: Symmetric or Asymmetric

-  Inlet/Outlet Ends: Butt-Weld Hubs, Butt-Weld Pipe Pups or Flanged

Material Specifications:

-  Body: ASTM A105 or ASTM A694 series, Duplex F51, Super Duplex F53. forging (size and pipeline grade dependent)

-  External Coating: Carboline 890 Epoxy Paint System, Safety Yellow Color
